Kuzunoha (葛の葉?) is the mother of Abe no Seimei. She is also the founder of the collective Exorcist Leadership group. Many exorcist consider her the mother of all exorcists.

Apparently, Kuzunoha becomes angry when she finds out Benio Adashino's guardian is an arch-rival to Seimei. Maybe this reveals a small facet of her personality.
History[]
Over 1000 years ago, Kuzunoha gave Abe no Seimei mighty enchantment powers.
Plot[]
Sayo Ikaruga summons Kuzunoha enchanted guardian for Rokuro's Divination Ceremony, causing Abe no Seimei to manifest herself in Rokuro's body. Kuzunoha is then shown also manifested in Sayo's body, and cries because she has been reunited with Seimei despite their current forms.[1]

- The name Kuzunoha means "arrowroot" (葛) (kuzu) and "leaf" (葉) (ha).
